No scheduled activities for the day, giving you time to settle in. In the evening, join a welcome meeting to kickstart your adventure.
Start your day with an early morning walking tour of Delhi, guided by a local youth from the Rootsofindiaandnepal-supported City Walk project. This initiative helps at-risk youth by offering them job training and educational opportunities. Afterward, drive to the desert town of Mandawa in the Shekhawati region.
In the evening, embark on a walking tour of Mandawa's old town to explore its stunning frescoed havelis and vibrant streets. Once a thriving trading hub, Mandawa's havelis are adorned with intricate paintings and carvings, showcasing the wealth of its former merchant residents.
Your B for Best Moment: City Walk (2-3km)
Enjoy a unique youth-led walking tour through the streets of Delhi. Your guide, a young person from the City Walk program, will share their personal perspective and provide insights into life for children in India. The proceeds from the tour support their education.

Mandawa Old Town Walking Tour
Explore Mandawa, often referred to as Rajasthan's "open-air art gallery," with its beautifully frescoed havelis. These once grand townhouses of wealthy traders offer a glimpse into the region's rich past and vibrant culture, making it a captivating destination on the ancient caravan route.
Enjoy a scenic morning drive to Jodhpur, the second-largest city in Rajasthan, known as the "Blue City" for its many houses painted in shades of blue. Upon arrival in the afternoon, take a short climb up to Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest and most impressive forts, perched high atop a hill. From here, you'll get panoramic views of the city below.
Later, wander through Jodhpur's Old City, where you can explore the bustling Sadar Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in India, and see the iconic clock tower.
